About Us Our Chef/Owner has been cooking for over 50 years. Bill grew up in his dad's restaurant business in New York City. His lifetime's experience as a chef has led to the last 23 years in The Main Street Grill in Half Moon Bay. Entering The Main Street Grill is like a walk down memory lane, with an old-fashioned juke box and a casual, friendly atmosphere. Among the favorites are omelettes with ingredients chosen by the diner to his personal taste, and a variety of Eggs Benedict. Many dishes are prepared from old family recipes. The best quality meats and sausages, the freshest produce, and a well-qualified staff ensure our guests a pleasant experience. Articles from the book "Our Town - 50 Terrific Bay Area Escapes" "When you walk in the front door, right away you know there's something jazzy going on...there are posters on the wall of Billie Holiday, Muddy Waters, Fats Waller, Harry James, and others. Then there's the jukebox. I doubt you could find one like it anywhere else in California. That's because the record machine is full of great jazz from the 40's and 50's..." -Dave
